SERVICE SPECIALIST (m/f/d)

With 300 slot machines, 10 jackpots, 14 gaming tables, a variety of events, and fine dining, we offer our guests the chance to play, have fun, and enjoy themselves 365 days a year in the heart of the three-country triangle (CH/FR/DE). In collaboration with the Airport Hotel Basel, our complex offers a wide range of package options combining casino, hotel, dining, events, and seminar facilities. We are currently seeking an experienced employee to join our catering team, either immediately or at a later date to be agreed upon.
Your responsibilities:
- Responsible for greeting and welcoming guests at the restaurant, during banquets, at the bars, and during catering and events
- Advise customers on our gourmet products and services and make recommendations to them.
- À la carte service in our restaurant, at banquets, and at our events
- Preparing cocktails, beverages, soft drinks, and spirits at the casino bars, at "Metro," at "Flowers," or at various internal event venues
- Collecting payments from customers and recording them in the POS system, as well as performing routine tasks such as setup.
- Responsible for ensuring compliance with hygiene guidelines (HACCP) and maintaining impeccable order and cleanliness at workstations, in the use of tools, in the warehouse, and in service areas
Your profile:
- Basic training in the restaurant industry and professional experience in à la carte service and behind the bar (cocktail preparation, etc.)
- Good knowledge of German (B2 level) is required, and good knowledge of French (B1 level)
- An empathetic team member with a sense of humor, intelligence, diligence, and discretion; well-groomed, with excellent manners and a positive attitude
- Willingness to work in a team, at night, on weekends, and on holidays
- Impeccable reputation (no criminal charges or entries on the criminal record)

With the Airport Hotel Basel AG located right next door, this complex offers a wide range of options combining casino gaming, hospitality and dining, events, and seminars. We are seeking an experienced employee to join our catering team, starting immediately or at a later date to be agreed upon.
Your responsibilities:
- Preparation and production of dishes and meals for the à la carte restaurant, banquets, events, and functions, for the game room, as well as staff meals
- Assistance with the preparation and organization of buffets and catering services
- Assist in the preparation of traditional and exotic hot and cold dishes at the assigned station and support the kitchen team at all levels
- Participating in cooking demonstrations for our guests and performing routine tasks such as setting up
- Co-manager of inventory control to ensure compliance with hygiene guidelines (HACCP)
- Responsible for ensuring that workstations, tools, the warehouse, and the kitchen are kept impeccably clean and tidy
Your profile:
- Completed vocational training as a chef (CFC) or equivalent professional experience in a traditional fine-dining kitchen
- Several years of professional experience as a cook at the sous-chef level
- Versatile chef with expertise in all areas of modern cuisine (e.g., sous chef, pantry chef, pastry chef, sauce chef, pastry chef, etc.)
- Extensive knowledge of HACCP guidelines
- Good knowledge of German and/or French
- Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- An impeccable reputation
